Thrilled to share with you I have been selected for the second consecutive year to be included in the Southwest Purchase Initiative with the two paintings shown above. Images of these pieces will be included in a digital portfolio circulated to projects within our geographic designation that qualify for public art funding.

Chamisas are in bloom in northern New Mexico, soon to be followed by the lovely golden hues of cottonwoods and aspens. It’s my favorite time of year to paint outdoors, and I’m looking forward to lots of excursions. Here’s a study of the Abiquiu area from last year for a little inspiration.
